Today was the day that my middle creature got to go in to school to meet his Kindergarten teacher. He was a little nervous about school … “what if I run out of love during the day when I’m at school and you’re not there to hug me?” Getting to meet Mrs. Mitchell today put his sweet little mind at ease. My small creature enjoyed meeting her too. Afterward he told me “I love Mrs. Mitchell. She beautiful. She’s like you.”

I feel good about Kindergarten.

My rants for today:

  1. Why is that when I do a Froogle search for a product (today’s seaarch was for Debbie Bliss Cashmerino yarn to make a “good” Tempting), most of the results are for eBay? If I try to exclude eBay from my search parameters by adding “-eBay” it STILL finds eBay results?
  2. Why is it that when I compliment my three year old on how nicely he’s talking and how he’s not screaming (aka SHRIEKING AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS!!!) he chooses to respond to me by SCREAMING in my face?
  3. Why is it that my husband doesn’t ever really listen to what I say – Scratch that, Nicki says I shouldn’t complain :-)

Hello world!

“Welcome to WordPress.com. This is your first post. Edit or delete it and start blogging!”

Wow, what an interesting way to start a blog. The trouble is, do *I* actually have anything more interesting to say than that? And is the fact that “all” my friends are doing this blog thing a good enough reason for me to do it too? Will anyone really want to read about me, my kids, or my knitting, or my cooking, or my opinion on anything? Will I really have enough to day on any of these subjects? Or worse yet TOO much to say? I know I talk too much and talk too loud, will my blog reflect this as well and only cause people to roll their eyes and think “there she goes again, talking on and on about nothing in particular …”

Sighhhhh … I geuss only time will tell.

So, in the meantime, welcome to my blog.
